Frequently Asked Questions

Do you accept health insurance?

Yes. We accept many insurance plans and are happy to verify your coverage. Please contact the office to provide us with your insurance information prior to your initial visit to ensure your verification is completed before your appointment.

How long will my first visit take?

You can expect your first visit to take approximately 60 minutes.

What is the cost of each visit?

Every insurance plan is different. The cost will depend on your plan’s benefits and coverage, which will be verified before your appointment. For non-insurance patients, the initial visit is $250.00 and the chiropractic adjustment is $75.00.

What should I expect on my first visit?

Your first visit will be a diagnostic visit. It includes a consultation, spinal and posture assessments, and digital x-rays, if necessary.

What Diagnostic Testing do you do?

Digital Posture Scan: Our Posture Screen assessment uses advance posture analysis technology to capture and measure how your body is aligned in real time. With just a few standardized photos, the system identifies postural shifts, such as forward head posture, uneven shoulders, or pelvic imbalances, and converts them into clear visual and numerical findings.
Digital X-Ray: At Legacy Chiropractic, x-rays are taken in our on-site digital x-ray suite. The specific x-rays taken allow the doctor to analyze the structure and misalignments in your spine. We will be able to obtain the necessary information on the safety of adjusting and potential correction of your spine. When we know how the spine is misaligned, we can determine exactly how to correct it.

When will I get my first adjustment?

At the conclusion of your initial diagnostic appointment, you will be scheduled for a follow up visit to review your findings. You will have the option to receive your first adjustment once your findings have been reviewed with you.

Do I need a referral to see a chiropractor in Georgia?

No referral is needed to visit us. For auto accidents or personal injury cases, we’ll coordinate your care with your attorney and the insurance adjuster.

What conditions do you treat?

Our team helps with back pain, neck pain, headaches, migraines, sports injuries, sciatica, pregnancy-related discomfort or pain, pediatric spinal concerns and more.

Is chiropractic care safe during pregnancy or for infants?

Yes. Many families in Tucker and across DeKalb County trust us for pregnancy and pediatric chiropractic care. We use the Webster Technique designed for moms-to-be and gentle, specific adjustments for infants, always putting safety and comfort first.

Can I see a chiropractor if I don’t have symptoms?

The frequency of adjustments is determined by the findings from your diagnostic appointment. On average, most new patients are recommended to get adjusted 1-3 times per week at the start of their care.

What chiropractic techniques do you use?

We use traditional manual adjustments, drop table adjustments and modern, low-force instrument techniques for patients. This allows us to provide care that is suitable to your comfort level.
